Winter art in action!
Little hands exploring colours, textures, and imagination on aluminum foil. Blue tones, brushes, pom-poms, and lots of freedom to experiment — messy, sensory, and full of joy.

Because creativity isn’t about the result, it’s about the process 💙

Open-ended play that sparks imagination, strengthens problem-solving and supports fine motor development.

🎃We had so much fun getting creative today! The children decorated their own mini pumpkins with feathers, pipe cleaners, and lots of sparkles — just in time for Halloween!
I love seeing their imaginations come to life!
This fun pumpkin-decorating activity supports so many areas of early development!
Cognitive skills – making choices about colours, shapes, and decorations.
Fine motor skills – using small tools, glue, and pipe cleaners helps strengthen hand muscles.
Creativity & imagination – children express their ideas and bring their pumpkins to life!
Language development – we talked about textures, colours, and Halloween traditions.
Social skills – sharing materials, taking turns, and encouraging each other.

It’s amazing how much learning happens through play! 🎃
