Thank you for your patience, support and understanding throughout today's disruption. We appreciate the cooperation shown by our school community while arrangements were put in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and any disruption to family routines. Thankfully, the issue has now been resolved and we are pleased to confirm that the school will be open as normal tomorrow.

Last week we welcomed Hilary from the LMC who delivered a cookery demonstration to Year 11 Food and Nutrition and Hospitality classes.

The pupils were lucky enough to sample either the lamb chilli con carne or tikka mince poppadoms.

Hilary also provided some useful nutritional information and cookery tips throughout the demonstrations.

Hands-on skills, practical tasks and conversations with students and professionals to help our pupils make informed careers decisions. Pupils considering a career in nursing got a fantastic insight into the profession with Liverpool John Moores University.

Our eager historians are in London to see the full 70 m length of the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum. The exquisite piece detailing the Norman Conquest of 1066 is one of the greatest artworks of the medieval world.
