UK Bangor Chinese School -BCS

Students at BCS (Bangor Chinese School) celebrated the Chinese New Year in a traditional way, writing Spring Festival couplets and creating festive decorations. It was wonderful to see them embracing Chinese culture and welcoming the Year of the Horse with joy and tradition. Happy Chinese New Year! 🐎🎉

Last Sunday, we held a wonderful online learning activity in collaboration with Zhejiang Intangible Cultural Heritage – Chinese Paper Cutting. Through the virtual session, our students learned about the history and basic techniques of this traditional art form and followed the instructor to create their own paper-cutting works.

The atmosphere was relaxed and engaging, and the children truly enjoyed the experience. This activity not only allowed our students to experience the charm of Chinese intangible cultural heritage, but also helped deepen their understanding and interest in Chinese culture. Overall, it was a very successful and rewarding cultural learning event.
