🎵 Inside the Music: A Play for Composer June Armstrong 🎵
📅 Saturday 15th August 2026

We can’t wait to welcome our students, families and music lovers to a very special day celebrating the music of composer June Armstrong!

Our students have been working tirelessly, practising and preparing their pieces, and this will be a wonderful opportunity for them to share their music, build confidence and enjoy a unique learning experience with a composer herself. 🥰

🎶 What’s happening on the day?
We’ll begin with an inspiring workshop and talk from June, followed by a masterclass where students will perform their chosen piece and receive feedback. We’ll finish the day with a concert celebrating everyone’s hard work and creativity!

🎹 Performers are also invited to bring a little something about their piece to share- this could be a painting, a poem, a story, or anything that helps bring their music to life. (Of course, there’s absolutely no pressure, simply playing your piece is wonderful too!)

And the most important news… VIP guests are invited! 🧸
Bring your favourite soft toy along, they’ll have their very own reserved VIP seats in the front row so they don’t miss a single note! 😍

Whether you’d like to perform, take part in the workshop, or simply come along and enjoy the concert, everyone is welcome. You don’t need to play or perform to attend, spectators are very welcome too!

🏆 Senior Student of the Year (Bangor): Luke 🎹

A huge congratulations to our Senior Student of the Year, Luke!

Luke is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through hard work, dedication, and determination. Starting piano lessons with us from scratch just three years ago, he has made incredible progress and continues to impress us with his commitment to learning and improving.

Over the past three years, Luke has successfully completed several piano exams and is now working at Grade 3. Along the way, he has embraced every opportunity to grow as a musician, taking part in music festivals, performances, and other events with confidence and enthusiasm.

What makes Luke truly deserving of this award is his positive attitude and perseverance. He approaches every lesson ready to learn, works consistently towards his goals, and never shies away from a challenge. His progress is a testament to the power of dedication and regular practice.
