FOUND - OLD PHOTO - SHOP CAR PARK - PLEASE SHARE

Found this lying on the ground in the shop car park in Balmacara . It was getting blown about so I picked it up.

It's an old photo, quite battered and a bit faded. Young couple, lad in a white tux with a bow tie, lass in a prom-type dress. Looks like it was taken at a dance or something.

I turned it over and on the back someone has written "George and Lorraine - Hill Valley 1955

Does anyone know a George and Lorraine? Maybe your parents or grandparents? Would love to get it back to them, seems like it might be important to someone.

History will be made at An Aird

Fort William will host a historic day for shinty this Sunday, 16th August, as An Aird stages the inaugural Women's Camanachd Association Premier Cup Final.

Going caman-to-caman for the right to become the first ever winners of the trophy will be Kinlochshiel Shinty Club and Badenoch Ladies Shinty Club.

Join us in Fort William this Sunday - throw up at 3pm.
