What a fantastic day for our Badby School cross country team! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💙💛

Our amazing Badbarians showed incredible determination, resilience and team spirit in a very competitive and gruelling race, all while battling extremely hot conditions.

We are so proud of every single runner who gave their absolute best. A huge congratulations to our many medallists and an extra special well done to our three race winners – an outstanding achievement!

You represented Badby School with courage, perseverance and pride. We couldn't be prouder of you all. Well done, Team Badby! 💙💛🏅👏

We're excited to share that Badby School is exploring the possibility of extending Bluebells, our pre-school provision, to welcome children from 2 years old.

This is an exciting opportunity that we are currently considering, and we'd love to hear from our school and local community.

🌟 Badby School is officially recognised as a Leading School! 🌟

We are delighted to share some wonderful news with our school community.

Last month, our school underwent a full external review by Challenge Partners, and I am incredibly proud to announce that we were awarded the highest possible judgement of ‘Leading’ in all areas.

Challenge Partners is a nationally recognised organisation that brings schools together to improve education through collaboration, professional challenge and rigorous school review. Reviews are carried out by Ofsted inspectors and experienced educational leaders and examine all aspects of school life, including teaching and learning, leadership, curriculum, outcomes, personal development and wider opportunities for pupils.

Achieving the top judgement across every area is a tremendous accomplishment and reflects the dedication, expertise and care shown by our staff every single day. The review team recognised the exceptionally high standards across the school, the rich opportunities provided for children and the positive culture that enables our pupils to thrive both academically and personally.

Most importantly, the review celebrated our wonderful children. Their enthusiasm, behaviour, confidence and pride in their school were praised throughout the process.

This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire school community. Thank you to our incredible staff for their passion and dedication, and to our families for the support, partnership and encouragement you provide.

We are immensely proud of this recognition and remain committed to providing the very best education and opportunities for every child.

What a busy few days our Bluebells children have had!

They’ve been making the most of the sunshine while enjoying their wonderful new outdoor area ☀️🌿, as well as using our climbing wall during their PE lessons.

They have also been fascinated watching caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies 🐛🦋—a lovely way to learn about nature and life cycles.

It’s been great to see so much exploring, learning, and laughter outside.

We had a very special visitor in our Reception class this week! 😊

A huge thank you to the lovely team from Dentaid who came in to teach the children all about looking after their teeth. The children were fascinated by the models of teeth and really enjoyed learning the correct way to brush and keep their smiles healthy. 🦷✨

To top it all off, each child received a fantastic goody bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and a colouring pack to take home.

Thank you again for such an engaging and informative visit—we loved having you! 💙

Badby School’s Year 5/6 pupils put in a fantastic performance at the Dynamos Cricket competition, showcasing not only their cricketing skills but also outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.

From the very first match, the team demonstrated great determination and enthusiasm. This strong team spirit was a key factor in their success.
Competing in a tough initial group, Badby worked hard and delivered some excellent performances to secure a well-earned second-place finish. This achievement saw them progress through to the final rounds, where the standard of competition rose even higher.

In the finals, they faced fellow iMAT schools Rothersthorpe and Weedon. These matches were closely contested, with Badby continuing to show resilience, skill, and great character. Every player contributed, whether batting, bowling, or fielding, making it a true team effort.

Overall, it was a brilliant day of cricket for Badby School. More importantly, the way the team supported and encouraged each other throughout made it a performance to be especially proud of.

Just a little peek into our day—our Reception class have been having a fantastic time outdoors, getting active with their maths learning! Today we’ve been exploring capacity, using lots of hands-on activities, pouring, measuring, and comparing in the fresh air.

It’s been wonderful to see their curiosity and teamwork in action as they learn through play. We love bringing learning outside whenever we can! 🌿
