Last week was an incredible experience with the &P Care team! We held the Mentorship Programme where we dove deep into equipping their senior staff with the essential skills to mentor new team members effectively. ๐ŸŒŸ

We all know that the care team is the first REAL contact for new staff, and it's so vital that they embody the companyโ€™s values and set a shining example of best practices for everyone to follow. Together, we sharpened our communication skills and explored the power of positive feedback. By utilising the Situation-Behaviour-Impact method, we discovered how impactful our words can be in shaping a supportive environment!

We also focused on recognising when new team members might be struggling, ensuring that everyone feels supported and empowered from day one. And letโ€™s not forget our strategies for gradually transferring responsibility within the teamโ€”this is key for developing confidence and promoting growth in new staff!

The excitement in the room was palpable as we engaged in discussions and activities that truly highlighted how each of us can make a difference in our workplace culture. Hereโ€™s to fostering an amazing mentoring environment at &PCare ! ๐Ÿš€
