🌟 Special mention to Layla!

After taking bronze in Free Forms and gold in Points Fighting, Layla stepped into the Light Continuous division for the very first time. It’s a completely different challenge, but she embraced it with confidence, showed great composure and skill, and walked away with an incredible gold medal! 🥇 What an achievement and a fantastic performance.

👏 A huge shout-out to Sarah for showing exactly what martial arts is all about.

With no one entered in her category, Sarah could have gone home without competing. Instead, she chose to step up and take on an experienced international Black Belt competitor. She gave an outstanding account of herself, pushing her opponent all the way before narrowly missing out in a closely fought final to earn silver. 🥈

When another fighter later withdrew, Sarah didn’t hesitate to step up again. She embraced the challenge, fought with real determination and earned a second silver medal. 💪🥈

Moments like these remind us that success isn’t just measured by medals—it’s measured by the courage to challenge yourself, step outside your comfort zone and give everything you’ve got.

Congratulations to Layla, Jordan, Sam and Sarah on an outstanding day. You represented Bucks Kickboxing Academy with pride, respect and determination, and we’re incredibly proud of every one of you.

A huge well done to all of our students who gave their best effort, and successfully achieved their next grade. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment in training have paid off, and you should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished.

Grading is about much more than learning techniques—it’s about showing discipline, determination, and the confidence to perform under pressure. Every one of you represented the club brilliantly.

Keep training hard, stay focused, and remember that earning a new belt is just the beginning of the next stage of your journey.

New belts will be awarded in class next week. We can’t wait to celebrate your achievement with you!
