Hi, I’m Kirstie – a trusted experienced SENCO, Senior leader in Education, teacher and parent.

I offer SEND consultancy for:

Parents and carers – help to understand support, prepare for meetings and navigate EHCP processes.

SENCOs – coaching and mentoring on strategic SEND leadership and day‑to‑day problem‑solving.

Headteachers and leaders – SEND audits, statutory compliance checks and OFSTED ‑ready evidence of inclusive practice.

Growth is not always measured by grades, targets or reports. Confidence, resilience, trust and self-belief matter too. Some of the most important progress happens quietly.

Progress isn’t always obvious, sometimes it looks like a calmer morning, a shorter meltdown or a child trying something new.

Small steps count and they always have.

No parent has all the answers. SEND parenting often means learning as you go, asking questions and adapting along the way. Trust yourself. You know your child better than anyone.

Rest is not something you earn after exhaustion. It is something you need before it. Taking care of yourself is not taking time away from your child. It helps you keep going.

It’s easy to focus on everything that still needs doing. Take a moment to notice how far you’ve already come. The fact that you keep showing up for your child every day says more than you realise.

Your child won’t remember whether every form was completed perfectly or whether every battle was won. They will remember that you were there. Loving them, supporting them and standing beside them is more than enough.
