Messy play Mondays 🤪 🎨
We used different types of Vehicles￼ to create marks in our tray with different colour paints.
This enabled us to discuss changes in colour theory as well as textures of the different wheels.
This activity enables us to exercise our motor skills, play with/ alongside others
as well as opportunities to expand speech.
Halloween emotion sensory play! 👻 🎃 🍁
During these activity’s we was able to discuss our emotions whilst creating some beautiful art work.
All things pumpkin 🎃 🍁
We love exploring pumpkins as much as possible.
Painting pumpkins creates a very exciting and messy sensory experience where we discussed colours of paint and textures of the paint/pumpkin.
This activity also gave our motor skills a good work out 🏋️♀️
Pumpkin puzzles- again we were able to discuss the textures of the pumpkin as well as discussing and learning shapes and problem solving. All this created opportunities to expand speech.

The children absolutely love exploring the different textures of the mud and herbs available to them, whilst they create and play they are learning about the natural world around them whilst developing their language￼, imaginative, motor and ￼social skills.

Today’s vegetable paint printing didn’t quite go to plan 😂- but the children explored the vegetables, paints and mixed the colours the best way they know how. Safe to say the fully enjoyed themselves and that’s all that’s important right now for them. 👍🏻
Sand play is one of our favourite activities- it’s so much fun and so easy to make the children and myself LOVE it!
