Some prewriting patterns… using fireworks as inspiration to get those finger muscles working… mark making in coloured salt, firework playdough, making chocolate sprinkle breadstick sparklers and chalk drawing 🎇

Here are a few of the activities we did for space week a couple of weeks ago. Colouring, cutting and positioning the planets, making rocket fruit kebabs, name rockets, intergalactic playdough and much more 🚀

A selection of our recent activities helping to develop the 7 areas of learning in Early Years

I am an OFSTED registered childminder in Wendover, Buckinghamshire and I am also a member of Pacey.

It is my aim to ensure that your children are given both exciting and challenging experiences in order for them to learn, develop and thrive. I have 2 children of my own age 2 and 4 so we are very active, out and about visiting lots of fun, interesting places. We will attend local playgroups, parks and the library, I have membership to the zoo and we regularly visit farms, museums and outdoor spaces.
On a typical day, we will do lots of fun activities, getting outside in the garden and local area whatever the weather, doing messy and creative art activities, baking and cooking and giving the children lots of choices to play and explore with the wide range of toys and resources I provide.

I provide childcare in a safe and secure home environment and can work alongside parents to ensure routines are followed healthy home cooked meals are provided.
