💚 Feedback Friday! 💚

There’s nothing better than receiving a lovely review after one of my Baby & Child First Aid sessions.

But for me, it’s about so much more than a great review.

My priority is to train as many people as I possibly can in first aid and give them the knowledge, skills and confidence to know what to do when it really matters.

👶 Baby & Child First Aid for parents, grandparents, carers and anyone looking after little ones.

🏫 First Aid in Schools to give children and staff the confidence to respond in an emergency.

💼 Workplace First Aid to help businesses and their teams feel prepared to deal with emergencies at work.

Because when an emergency happens, there’s no time to Google what to do.

Everyone should be able to go to school, head to work, eat out, travel and enjoy everyday life without feeling excluded because of a serious allergy.

This Anaphylaxis Awareness Week, 1–7 October, Anaphylaxis UK is focusing on belonging and the importance of making sure people living with serious allergies feel safe, understood and included.

Throughout the week, they’ll be sharing stories, resources and podcasts designed to increase understanding of what it’s really like to live with serious allergies and to get more of us talking about how we can make a difference.

We can all play a part. Learn more. Start conversations. Share useful information with your colleagues, friends, family, pupils or wider community. Small changes in awareness and understanding can help make everyday spaces more inclusive.

You can also show your support by taking part in , wearing something bright to stand alongside friends, family members and colleagues affected by serious allergies.

At Mini First Aid, we’re proud to support Anaphylaxis Awareness Week and help spread the message that everyone deserves to feel safe, included and part of the conversation.

This class is suitable for expectant parents, grandparents and carers. On this 2 hour class you will learn all the First Aid knowledge and skills required to keep your little ones safe, ensure you are fully prepared for all the most common medical emergencies and give yourself the peace of mind you deserve.

Our classes are friendly, relaxed and informal and we will cover: CPR, Choking, Burns, Meningitis Awareness, Febrile Seizures, Bleeding, Head Bumps, Breaks and more…

All attendees will receive a Mini First Aid booklet and certificate of attendance which counts towards CPD points (Continuing Professional Development)

No babysitter? No problem! Pre crawling babies are welcome. 😊

💚 It’s not always about the training… sometimes it’s about the people. 💚

Between teaching Benedict’s Law to school staff, delivering a workplace qualification course to the fantastic team at The Padel Hub, being IQA’d ourselves by the lovely Grace, and squeezing in our networking meetings… it’s been a busy one! 🙌

But amongst all the training, learning and working, one of the things I value most is being able to catch up with our neighbours, friends and fellow Mini First Aid trainers. 🥰

Those little moments of connection, laughter, support and friendship really are priceless. ❤️

A huge thank you to Mini First Aid West & South West LondonMini First Aid Bedfordshire & Luton and of course Mini First Aid Oxfordshire — it’s so lovely to have such an amazing community around us. 💚

Running a business can be busy, but having people around you who understand the journey makes it all worthwhile. 🥰
