The Avoch Primary JUNK YARD, loose parts play area will be launched in the new school year. We have a lovely new area fenced off and are now looking for donations of materials. We would love it if you have spare and UNBROKEN items of the following that you could donate to the fun!
Large buckets and tubs
Big plastic crates or fish boxes
Thick planks of wood (smooth - no splinters)
Hard hats
Tyres - variety of sizes
Drain pipes of any length and full or half pipes
Drainage pipes - much larger and good for climbing through
Cable reals
Pallets
No longer wanted sledges, snow boards, surf boards
Metal pots, pans and bowls, utensils
Anything else people might think interesting for kids to play with
Items can be dropped off at the school into the newly fenced off area on the left hand side of the playing field at the main entrance to the school. This is an ongoing project so keep a look out for things over the coming months.
