🌈 Welcome to all our new little ones! 🌈

What an exciting few days we have ahead at Aughnacloy Playgroup as we get ready to meet all our new little boys and girls, and of course, their families 💛

Starting playgroup is such a big milestone, and we know there may be lots of excitement, a few nerves and maybe even a little tear or two along the way 🥰
Please know that we are here to make those first steps as happy, gentle and special as we can.

We’re so looking forward to meeting you all at your meetings over the next few days, hearing all about your little ones and beginning to get to know the wonderful personalities who will soon fill our playgroup with laughter, chatter and fun🧸🎨🌈

Graduation and Farewell 🌈

Today we celebrated 24 wonderful little people as they celebrated their last day in playgroup with a special graduation ceremony 🎓
An exciting adventure lies ahead for them all and we know they are all ready for the big step into P1 🎒🖍

We are also celebrating Patricia and Jennifer 👏After 7 amazing years, Jennifer, our fantasic Playgroup Leader, is moving on to pastures new 🥹
Jennifer has been at the heart of our playgroup for so many years, bringing kindness, care, laughter, and endless support to all the children, families, and staff. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her every happiness and success as she starts her new chapter 💐✨
We are also saying farewell to Patricia, our fantastic SENCo, who is retiring after 7 years with us.
Patricia has shown such patience, compassion, and dedication to every child in her care, making a lasting difference to so many families along the way. We hope retirement brings her lots of relaxation 🌸😊

Thank you both for everything you have done for our playgroup community. Your hard work, friendship, and commitment will never be forgotten, and you will always remain a special part of our playgroup family ❤️

🎨💖 Looking for a fun activity with the kids?
The Aughnacloy Kindness Rocks Trail is a wonderful way to get creative, explore the village and spread kindness one rock at a time! 🪨🌈
Paint it. Hide it. Find it. Re-hide it.
See the poster below to join in! ✨

Let's fill Aughnacloy with colour, kindness and a few happy surprises!

We're inviting children, families, community groups and residents of all ages to take part in the Aughnacloy Kindness Rocks Trail.

It's simple:

🖌️ Paint a rock
📍 Hide it somewhere in Aughnacloy
😊 Brighten someone's day when they discover it

Get creative with themes such as:

🌸 Flowers
🐝 Wildlife
❤️ Positive messages
🏛️ Aughnacloy landmarks
🎨 Or anything that makes people smile!

When you find a rock, take a photo, share it on social media and then re-hide it for someone else to discover.

📸 Don't forget to tag Aughnacloy Development Association and Aughnacloy in Bloom in your photos so we can share your creations and see how far the trail spreads across the village.

This is all about community spirit, creativity and kindness – there are no competitions, no winners and no losers. Just a fun way to bring people together and brighten our village.

Posters will be available through local schools and businesses, so keep an eye out and get involved!

Let's see how many kindness rocks we can spread throughout Aughnacloy! ❤️

🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who collected and donated Tesco Stronger Starts blue tokens for Aughnacloy Playgroup at the Balmoral Show 💙
Because of your amazing support, we came FIRST PLACE and won the £1500 grand prize! 🥇🏆
We are hoping this will towards the installation of a brand new greenhouse and garden accessories!! 👨‍🌾👩‍🌾🪴
We are absolutely delighted and so grateful to every single person who popped a blue token in our booth at the show!
