Today is the original day planned as D Day, now due to bad weather in the Channel, the troops would be delayed until tonight to start their journey to free Europe of its occupation by Nazi Germany.
Tomorrow, the 6th of June will be the day of days, troops from all over the world will be landing in the early hours to start the reoccupation of Europe.
Spend some time tomorrow to reflect on their sacrifices, to give us what we have today.

[05/30/21]   The build up of troops and equipment for the Invasion of Europe was planned and executed over years, with the global rollout of the current vaccination program against COVID 19, please spare a thought for those working tirelessly behind the scenes “ as they did for D Day” to deliver a logistical solution to fight for our freedom.

[77e D-Day Anniversary]

🇺🇸🇬🇧 For the second consecutive year, the celebrations and commemorations of the 76th and 77th anniversaries of D-Day and the Liberation will be impacted by the pandemic. Few or no parties, parades, balls, conferences, concerts, festivals, parachuting, but ceremonies in restricted committee. However, in the spirit as in the will, Carentan, Normandy, did not forget. The dates of the first days of June are forever engraved in history and in the collective memory ✨
📍Internet technology sets itself up again this year as a recourse to transmit and communicate the same messages of gratitude for the liberators, and connect all those for whom the sacrifices made 77 years ago mean something.
➡️The 77th anniversary of D-Day, in a form far removed from the one usually offered to the inhabitants of Carentan and the thousands of visitors, will be commemorated, as evidenced by this poster, which features one of the many emblematic images of the liberation, the presentation of the Silver Star to the four Carentan colonels by General Maxwell Taylor on June 15, 1944.
💻 The website quatrejoursenjuin.com summarizes in its many sections the legacy of 77 years of memories, gratitude and friendship between nations. Stay tuned with us to follow the 77th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy!

[05/21/21]   Looking forward to seeing this project come to life.

[03/04/21]   The past 12 months have certainly been a challenge, the plan is to get our artifacts up on our YouTube channel for everyone to enjoy.
Unfortunately or fortunately, several of our artifacts have been going out to film companies for some feature films, this has left several of our planned collections incomplete.
They should all be back soon , so will get recording as soon as we can.
