Over the last six weeks Mandarin have been experimenting with clay and developed their skills at pinch pots, coiling and slab building. Following very successful sculpting they sanded the dry surface of their creations, carefully applied paint and finished with a PVA glaze. The finished pieces show some great precision, lovely imagination and lots of character! 🎨👨‍🎨🏺

Well done to all of the Year 1/2 cross country runners today! They ran just over 1km!

King Eider and Mandarin participated in the TT Rockstars live lesson as part of National Numeracy Day. They played a game of 'would you rather?' with real life maths scenarios. Everyone really enjoyed it and thought carefully about their answers!

Robins class have been enjoying their fractions topic in maths! We enjoyed a practical lesson where we got to draw on the tables to help us find a quarter of a quantity!
