St Mary’s is first and foremost a Catholic high school with a distinct ethos centered upon the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. The dignity of each person is at the heart of Catholic teaching and we are acutely aware that each one of our 1670 students is their parents’ most precious gift. As an 11-18 school it is our privilege as educators to walk with students on this journey from childhood, th

rough adolescence to adulthood. We will support, nurture, encourage and challenge our students to become academically successful but also to grow as a person so they are ready to face the adult world with strength and purpose, confidence, resilience, self-belief but also with compassion, moral values and sense of justice. A reminder to all parents, carers and students that St Mary's Catholic High School & Sixth Form College will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday 1st September) for our Staff INSET Day.

We can't wait to welcome our new Year 7 pupils and Year 12 students on Wednesday 2nd September as they begin the next exciting chapter of their journey with us.

All other students will return to school on Thursday 3rd September.
