It's been a busy few days. Jenna came along to our headboard course for some quality, creative time with her Mum (Liz) over on holiday from South Africa.

Jenna has only had limited time on a sewing machine and not touched one for years .....and LOOK AT THAT PATTERN MATCHING !!! A natural 👏

A special evening, and one we’re delighted to finally share here on Facebook. 🧑‍🎓✨

So much work, knowledge and personal growth led to this moment.

Our end of year show was a chance to celebrate everything our students have achieved, from the practical work they have completed and the knowledge gained through their theory studies, to the confidence they have built along the way.

For some, the evening marked the completion of their professional AMUSF qualification. For others, it was another important milestone in their course.

In this short film, we see our students receiving their awards and hear from Helen, who began her upholstery journey simply looking for a hobby, but found it gave her far more than she expected.

It captures just a glimpse of a very special evening, shared with our students, past and present, tutors, friends and families.

What a fantastic turnout and a buzzing atmosphere at our end of year show. It was lovely to see our students celebrating with their family and friends, alongside former students who joined us for the evening.

A special thank you, as always, to our AMUSF President, Ray Clarke, for joining us and presenting the students with their certificates, and to our guest tutor, Peter. We really appreciate you both being there.

We’re incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved this year, and it was so wonderful to hear the examiners say the standard of work was exceptionally high. What an amazing reflection of all the hard work that’s gone into this year!

Now go and enjoy a well-deserved summer break. You’ve earned it! We can’t wait to welcome those of you moving on to the next stage in September, refreshed and ready to get started.

We’re taking a few days off now, but we’ll be back on Monday to share more photos and videos from the evening.
