What a fantastic hands-on activity today! 🚴🍓🥤

Our children had great fun taking turns pedalling a special smoothie bike. As they pedalled, the bike powered a blender, turning fresh fruit into delicious smoothies!

It was a wonderful way to explore how energy can be transformed while encouraging teamwork, healthy eating, and plenty of smiles. Well done to everyone who took part! 🌟

Plus we are delighted and very excited to announce that we have a number of trade stall holders confirmed selling a range of lovely things including:

Mother Duck


We will also have food and drink refreshments on offer including

BBQ 🍔🌭
Cold and hot drinks ☕️🥤
Lots of yummy Cake 🧁 🍰


Plus we have our amazing 100 Year Logo Design Competition entries on display and our winner will be announced at 6pm! 🏆



And finally we will be drawing our fantastic raffle at 6pm! There’s still time to get your tickets -they are available to purchase from Worthington School, Malt Shovel Pub and the Village Shop and they will be available to buy on the gate at the Summer Fete! 🍀

❗️Important information regarding Worthington School Summer Fete❗️

☀️Only 5 days to go!!

❗️A few dull but essential pieces of information.

🚗 Please be considerate when parking on Friday, making sure not to block driveways and junctions. The road outside school, Main Street, can get very busy so please use other roads in the village and walk to the fete, where possible.

🐶Sorry, no Dogs, except guide dogs, are
allowed on the School site.

💳Card payments will be accepted at the entrance, refreshments and bbq. However, the other stalls and games will be cash only so please bring plenty of change to enjoy the day.

➡️ The main entrance will be through the large gates to the right of the school building.

🚾 Toilets are located inside the school building which is accessed by the main school gate.

🧑🧒🧒 Children need to be supervised at all times.

⛅️ This is an outdoor event so please come prepared for all weathers. The forecast at the moment is sunny and hot so plenty of suncream and sunhats.

Class 3 enjoyed an amazing visit to Breedon Quarry yesterday!

Our Sports ambassadors attended the celebration day on Friday 5th May. They created a wonderful display board to show the other schools attending what they have done throughout the year. They were amazing and won the primary ambassadors pupil choice award voted for by the other children who were there ☺️

After a week of SATs, it was time to say bonjour to some tasty treats! 🇫🇷🥐🧀 Our pupils enjoyed sampling French cheeses and pastries to celebrate the end of SATs week. Très bien, everyone!
