If you want follow along my journey on the Ironman app, athlete 1213 - start time 8am Croatia time.

A whole year of training, swimming 4 times a week, running the roads, hours on the bike and tomorrow it all comes together.

It seems like making a reel to say your not bothered by everything you see online, really triggers people 🤯

These are just a few of the awful comments I got on that reel, mostly by men, calling out white women and saying some horrible things. Men who have wives and family in their profile pictures 😮

Why would you go out of your way to comment on a reel which clearly says I’m not bothered by a certain advert? It didn’t annoy me, it didn’t offend me, it was just an ad. I’m all for supporting women, I don’t get offended if they decide to do an advert with no clothes on.

What gives people the right to be so rude and unkind to someone they don’t even know?

These people who comment must just sit behind a screen, and decide who they want to target that day. I took every comment with a pinch of salt, considering not one of them actually read my caption to understand what my reel meant but some people may not and some people may feel personally attacked by the likes of these comments.

Instead of spreading hate, Let’s Spread kindness! 🙌
