School Closure Today: 09th January 2025

Dear Parents and Carers,

After reviewing the current weather conditions and road safety concerns—including blocked roads by lorries, broken-down vehicles, and icy drives across Coalville, Measham, Swadlincote, and surrounding areas where our staff travel from—I have made the decision to close Sir John Moore C.E. Primary School today.

Thank you for your understanding. Please take care and avoid travelling unless it is absolutely essential.
