🎓Pre School Graduation 2026🎓

Last week, we celebrated the graduation of all of our Little Hedgehogs who are leaving us to start their next big adventure at big school! 🏫🦔

It has been an absolute pleasure to care for you all and watch you grow into such confident, thoughtful and kind little people. 😊 You are all so ready for this exciting new chapter! 🎓✨

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you and wish you all the luck in the world as you begin your next adventure🍀

We would also like to say a massive THANKYOU, to all of amazing Pre School parents and families, who turned up, on the hottest day of the year, to celebrate with us☀️🎉 We truly appreciate every single one of you.

❤️ Red Nose Day 2026 ❤️
Today at Happy Hedgehogs, we swapped our usual red uniforms for something a little bit different… pyjamas! 😂 All in support of Comic Relief.
The children had a fantastic time taking part in a variety of fun, engaging activities—of course, all themed around the colour red! ❤️
We would like to thank all of our wonderful children and parents for your kind donations today and continued support.

Today at Happy Hedgehogs we celebrated all the wonderful mums, grandmas and special motherly figures in the children’s lives with a lovely Mother’s Day afternoon! 💐

We were delighted to welcome everyone into the setting to spend some special time together enjoying a little pampering, getting creative with crafts, and making some beautiful memories with the each other.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. The children loved spending time with their Mummies, Nannies & other family members!! 💕💐🥰

Yesterday at Happy Hedgehogs we had a great day celebrating World Book Day! 📚🦔

Our setting was full of excitement as the children arrived dressed as their favourite characters as well as bringing in their favourite books to share with their friends. Throughout the day the children enjoyed looking through each other’s books, talking about their favourite characters and using their imagination to create their own stories.

We also had 3 very special visitors join us during the day… a unicorn, a dinosaur, and some fantastic Year 5 pupils from Sir John Moore Primary School! 🦄🦖📖

The Year 5 children kindly spent their time reading stories to our toddlers and preschoolers, which was a really fun experience for everyone. The younger children showed such a huge interest in the stories being shared.

A big thank you to the Year 5s for visiting us and making our World Book Day celebrations even more special. The children had such a lovely day filled with imagination, laughter and lots of great stories! 📚✨

📚 A Special Visit to Happy Hedgehogs Pre-School 📚
Before half term, we were delighted to welcome the Year 6 children from Sir John Moore Primary School to Happy Hedgehogs! They spent time with our pre-school children enjoying some lovely group reading sessions.
Each of the Year 6 pupils brought along one of their favourite books to share, which made it very exciting for us! Our pre-schoolers listened beautifully to the stories, asked thoughtful questions and were eager to share their own answers too — we were so impressed!
We are incredibly proud of our pre-school children for being so welcoming, kind and attentive throughout the visit. A huge thank you to the children from Sir John Moore for giving up their time to come and read with us — it was such a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
