Good Evening All

I am excited to let you know I will be continuing with the breakfast and after school care. I am currently in the process of finalising some paperwork and in the next few weeks I will be in a position to start taking childcare booking placements if required.

I plan opening for the new academic year in line with SJM term dates starting Wednesday 25th August 2021.

Just a little update...

A lot has changed over the past 12 months and my priorities are much different to when Lesley and myself first started on our journey in building a business that we were both passionate about.

During this third lockdown, I realised that I needed to prioritise certain things in my life and have as much time with my family as possible.

That being said I have decided to step away from Appleby Conkers and I wish Lesley all the best going forward.
My decision wasn't easy to make but ultimately I know it was the right one for me.

Thank you all for you continued support and please carry on supporting Lesley.

Hi there,
We just wanted to provide you with a little update from us.

As you know we are living in such uncertain and unprecedented times with Covid in our daily lives. The realisation hit this week as our children are currently having to self isolate for 2 weeks, which means we have to be off work and at home with them. Had we been open the government guidelines would have required us to close the whole club. This meaning we wouldn't have been able to provide a service for two weeks.

Therefore, we have decided to delay the opening of Appleby Conkers until after the Easter holidays (12th April 2021) We hope by then that things will have progressed in the way we treat and respond to the spread of Covid19.

This has been a difficult decision to make, leading to lots of sleepless nights. We have put so much work in to the club over the past year and hope that you will continue to support us once we are able to fully open. We hope that you can understand the reasons why we have made this decision and we send our apologies if this has caused any issues for yourselves.

Once we can eventually open we look forward to caring for your children . In the mean time stay safe and feel free to keep in contact.
