At Antrobus Preschool Nursery we know how important it is that children have the right foundations for future learning and for life. Our Curriculum Tree shows what children bring in with them (the roots), the fundamentals of the support we offer (the trunk) and the 9 Curriculum Outcomes we intend children will feel secure in when they leave us (the canopy). Our curriculum outcomes feed in to every policy at nursery and everything we do everyday to support your children 💕

Promoting healthy eating and nutrition is so important to us at Nursery. Sarah is our health and nutrition lead here at Nursery and is available anytime for information and advice. Sarah posts monthly healthy recipes on Tapestry which are delicious. Sarah also does cooking with the groups to promote independence, along with preparing their own healthy snack (older groups)

The Oaks group have been chatting about how to keep our bodies cool on hot days.
We made mint and cucumber iced water. We picked the mint from the garden and washed it. We added cucumber and ice cubes and drank it using a straw - keeping ourselves nice and hydrated 🧊 🥒

Our babies have been keeping cool with lots of different water play activities 💦

They really enjoyed our ice block sensory play, exploring the cold temperature and watching the ice melt away to reveal the hidden ducks 🦆
