I’m sure, like me, your feeds have been absolutely covered in solar eclipse boxes! 🤣
There can be so much pressure to do things a certain way, and I’ve felt that doubly as a science educator.

It’s easy to feel like activities need to be shoehorned in, particularly with these ‘once in a generation’ events.

I’m definitely guilty of that this evening, and I regret it. I should have taken a more laid back approach, I should have pulled my fingers out and bought the glasses earlier! 😅

These few days have been overwhelming what with one thing or another, but next time I’ll let the girls’ curiosity lead.

You don’t need to spend a fortune to get quality tuition.
I deliberately keep my groups as low cost as possible.

Primary science = just £15 per MONTH
KS3 science = just £16 per MONTH
Edexcel IGCSE Biology, Chemistry or Physics = just £15 per lesson (max 8 students)

This is what a small group actually gets you 👇

Not a stream you watch. A class where they get asked questions, get things wrong safely, your child gets to ask “wait, why though?” — and gets an answer, live.

Small groups mean I know where every child is at. That’s the difference between watching science and doing it.
