A huge thank you to FOMS (Friends of Medstead School) for their fantastic fundraising efforts, helping us create even more opportunities for reading across our school. Their support has funded a wonderful selection of new books and furniture, transforming our library into a welcoming and inspiring space for everyone. 📖

Our wonderful librarian, Mrs White, has introduced weekly class visits and brings the library to life with her enthusiasm, creativity and love of books. Every visit is a chance to discover a new story, explore exciting worlds and find a favourite book. 📚

Elm Class have begun their exciting new learning journey into World War II.

In English, the children have been exploring their new book, Blitz by Martin Impey, and stepping back in time to imagine what life would have been like during the war.

They used their creativity and imagination to brainstorm the sights, sounds, feelings and experiences of being inside an underground air raid shelter during an air raid. 🇬🇧

A fantastic start to their WWII learning, with some thoughtful ideas and wonderful discussions from the children.

What a great few days we’ve had at Medstead C of E Primary School.
It has been wonderful to see all our children embracing their learning with such enthusiasm and excitement✨

Our classrooms are already coming to life, with fantastic displays showcasing the children’s curriculum learning and celebrating all they have achieved so far. 👏

And there’s even more to be excited about… our KS1 children are enjoying some brand-new rugs, creating lovely, inviting spaces for learning, reading and sharing ideas together.

It was wonderful to welcome all our children back to Medstead C of E Primary School earlier✨

The school was soon filled with the joyful sounds of laughter and chatter as the children reunited with their friends and staff before happily settling back into learning.

We are looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, friendship, fun and exciting new adventures 🦌

🎉 Medstead C of E Primary School are incredibly proud to celebrate fantastic Key Stage 2 SATs results! 🎉

A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 6 pupils, whose hard work, resilience and determination have shone through. They approached every challenge with confidence, perseverance and a positive attitude, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they have achieved.

These outstanding results are a reflection of the dedication of all of our wonderful staff, the unwavering support of our families, and, most importantly, the incredible children who have worked so hard throughout their time at Medstead School.

Congratulations to our wonderful Elm Class ⭐️⭐️

Thank you for all you have given to our school community: your hard work, determination, courage, laughter and kindness. You have helped shape our school, and your influence will remain long after you have moved on.

Yesterday, we reflected on the meaning behind the School House Names and their relevance to us as individuals.

Like the earth beneath our feet, we hope Medstead has helped provide firm foundations on which you can build your future.

Like the air, we hope this transition to secondary school lifts you towards new opportunities, new experiences and exciting adventures.

Like fire, we hope you carry forward the energy, courage and light that you have shown during your time here, continuing to shine brightly wherever life takes you.

And like water, we thank you for the joy, creativity and fun you have brought to our lives, leaving ripples of happy memories that will continue to spread through our school community.

May God bless each one of you as you move on to new places, new people and new challenges. Know that we are grateful to have shared part of your journey and proud of everything you have achieved.
