👇Find a tutor or join our team. I am so passionate about education and how every child should have an equal opportunity to the same quality education. It is wonderful to help match excellent quality tutors with clients. Working to support home schooled children, top up clients and communities is freshening and exciting. Building alternative offerings of tutoring through workshops is my current project, whilst building a tutoring team and client base. Loving teaching/ tutoring Business. I buzz after each session! Love learning and continuous Improvement? Why not join our tutoring team? We are passionate about education. Personally, I have worked in the sector since 2007. I am an experienced A-Level and GCSE Business teacher. I have taught in Surrey Secondary schools and Sixth Form colleges. I live in Hampshire and know both of my areas well. All my family are teachers, I would definitely say that teaching is in our blood. My MA (2018) was in Teaching and Learning. I love education and believe everyone is entitled to personalised differentiated learning. Tutoring offers a dynamic alternative provision for you or your child/ children, shaped around their learning styles, interests and needs. Tutoring is a fantastic opportunity for the tutees and the tutors. Most teachers do not have time to work one-to-one with their students and therefore it is highly rewarding for both parties. It is my responsibility to match your tutoring needs with the right tutor/s. In my spare time I am studying for a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching. My desire is to support others reach their potential. We offer one-to-one tutoring sessions, group sessions, CPD for teachers who would like to upskill in particular areas and home tutoring. We have experienced tutors delivering all key stages/ year groups and adult education. Our tutoring programmes are designed to meet the individual needs and therefore you (the client) set the goal and time frame. Our tutors will plan and facilitate the sessions at a location that suits both parties, primarily this will happen at your home or could be in the local library or online. When contacting me, please provide details of the subject/s, level of study (e.g. Key Stage, year group, GCSE, A-Level), and any other information, such as special educational needs or gifted and talented. Every year it’s the same.

June and July arrive and parents think they’ve got plenty of time.

Then September appears out of nowhere and suddenly they’re wishing they’d started the conversation sooner.

If you’re thinking about:
✔️ Finding the right tutor
✔️ Building confidence
✔️ Closing learning gaps
✔️ Getting ahead before the new school year

Now is the ideal time to get organised.

The strongest tutor relationships aren’t rushed.

Starting now gives your child time to build a positive relationship with their tutor, establish strong foundations and develop confidence before the new school year begins.

A weekly, consistent slot with a trusted professional can make a huge difference.

Not just academically.

For many families, it also means less stress around homework and revision, and more time being mum or dad rather than chasing schoolwork.

Our tutors become a guide on the side, helping children develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits that last well beyond the classroom.

👉 Thinking about support for your child? Comment FIND A TUTOR and we’ll send you more information.

And if you’re a qualified teacher in Surrey, North or East Hampshire considering tutoring alongside teaching, we’d love to hear from you too.

I was stopped by a parent in Surrey this recently.

She recognised me straight away.

We'd supported her son a few years ago, through his GCSEs. She wanted me to know how much it had meant to their family.

Those moments remind you that this is about so much more than the sessions.

It's about the relationship. The trust. The progress that carries forward long after the tutoring ends.

That’s what we’re building in Surrey and Hampshire and if you want that for your child, June is the best time to act.

GCSE students finish their exams and tutors become available, but spaces fill quickly.

🌱 Comment MATCHME and we’ll find the right tutor for your child.

Mental health matters all year round.

So we asked members of the HST team about the small things that support their wellbeing day to day.

Their answers were simple:
✨ Fresh air
✨ Movement
✨ Face-to-face connection
✨ Time with loved ones
✨ A cuddle with a furry friend
✨ Checking in on the people around you

Sometimes the smallest actions can have the biggest impact.

At HST, we also see every day how closely mental health, wellbeing and education are connected - particularly for students facing health challenges or barriers to education.

(And yes… Amy’s emotional support companion definitely stole the show 🐾)

What helps your mental health?
