What a fantastic weekend we had at the Alrewas Show! 🎉

A huge thank you to the Alrewas Show for having us – we really appreciate the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful event.

It was lovely catching up with so many familiar faces and meeting lots of new ones too. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to to say hello and have a play!

🌟 Did you know? We welcome children from just 12 months old! 🌟

Our preschool provides a warm, nurturing environment where even our youngest children can learn, grow and thrive.

As a small village preschool, we're proud to offer a home-from-home atmosphere with a caring, experienced team. Many of our staff have been with us for years, meaning children and families build strong, trusting relationships from the very beginning.

We understand that starting childcare is a big milestone, and we're here to make that transition as happy and reassuring as possible.

From sensory play and messy activities to singing, stories and outdoor adventures, our youngest children enjoy a wide range of age-appropriate experiences that support their confidence, communication, curiosity and independence.

Being at the heart of our wonderful village community is something we truly value. We regularly get involved in local events and activities, helping children develop a sense of belonging while exploring the world around them. Whether it's seasonal celebrations, community walks or visits within the village, there's always something exciting to discover.

We're delighted to introduce Pebbles Stay & Play – a brand-new monthly session for babies, toddlers, preschool children, and their parents, carers, and grandparents.

Join us for a relaxed, friendly morning where little ones can play, explore, and learn while grown-ups enjoy a chance to chat, connect, and build friendships within our community.

Why join a Stay & Play? 🧸 Encourages children's social, emotional, and communication skills through play.
🎨 Supports learning and development with fun, age-appropriate activities.
🤝 Helps parents and carers meet other local families and build a support network.

They say the final term in the education sector is always a busy one, and wow – we certainly haven't stopped over the last two weeks!

We've had face-to-face parent consultations, a visit from the EHO where we were delighted to be awarded a 5⭐ rating, and a fantastic visit from Zoolab. The children had the opportunity to hold a snake and a cockroach, as well as see spiders, frogs, and many other fascinating creatures.

We were also lucky enough to welcome a former parent back to visit us, who brought along baby chicks and ducks from her farm for the children to meet and learn about.

Alongside this, we've been busy with show rounds for new families joining us, enjoying plenty of ice pops to cool down in the hot weather, splashing in paddling pools, and taking part in lots of water play activities.

Our Sports Day at the cricket club was, as always, a huge success, and we'd like to thank everyone who came along and supported the children.

And we're not finished yet! We still have lots to look forward to, including our Preschool Graduation and a special trip to the chippy for lunch!

We're also delighted to announce that we have once again been invited to support the Alrewas Show on Saturday 18th July. We will be showcasing what we do by providing an area where children, supervised by their parents, can explore a range of engaging resources and activities.

What a fantastic few weeks it's been, and we can't wait for all that's still to come!

We recently sent a notice to our parents regarding a small fee increase. The increase is just 50p per session, but due to the continued rise in operating costs, it is an important step in helping us maintain the high-quality care and experiences we provide for our children every day.

We were incredibly touched by the supportive responses we received. One parent kindly shared:
"Your nursery is worth every penny; you provide an outstanding setting for our precious children.

I for one am extremely grateful to you all.

[Child's Name] always leaves ‘full of the joys of spring’ when she has been there, and we can tell that she is benefitting from all the exposure she has whilst she is there too."

Messages like these mean so much to our team. Thank you to all our families for your continued support, trust, and appreciation. It is a privilege to be part of your children's early years journey. ❤️
