🏴🏴⚽️⚽️Last week at Kids Klub we have been busy exploring Scotland through stories and pictures, sparking lots of conversations about our beautiful country, its landmarks, wildlife, and traditions. The children enjoyed sharing what they know about Scotland and discovering new things together.
We also celebrated Father’s Day with some lovely creative activities, giving the children opportunities to express their love and appreciation for the special people in their lives. Their thoughtful creations were made with lots of care and pride.
Our adventures continued outdoors with visits to the local park, where the children developed their physical skills, confidence, and friendships through climbing, running, balancing, and imaginative games. Outdoor play provides endless opportunities for learning while having fun in the fresh air.
Inside, role play experiences encouraged creativity, communication, and teamwork as the children took on different characters and explored their imaginations. Alongside this, heuristic play offered opportunities for discovery and problem-solving as children investigated everyday objects, exploring how they could be used in different ways.
Through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences, the children have been developing curiosity, creativity, confidence, and a love of learning every day.

🌟 Another Week Full of Learning Through Play at Kids Klub 🌟
This week the children have been busy exploring an exciting Under the Sea Invitation to Play 🐠🐙🐚. Through imaginative play, sensory exploration and storytelling, the children discovered different sea creatures, developed their language skills and shared their own ideas about life beneath the waves.
💚 Our colour of the week was Green and we spotted green everywhere around us! From leaves and grass outdoors to seaweed in our ocean-themed activities, the children enjoyed identifying and talking about different shades of green.
🫧 We also created beautiful sensory bottles, exploring colours, movement and textures. The children seemed to enjoy shaking, rolling and observing the bottles as they developed their curiosity and concentration skills.
🐞 During our outdoor adventures, we went bug hunting, carefully searching under logs, leaves and plants to discover the tiny creatures sharing our garden. The children showed great care and respect for nature while learning about the world around them.
👩🍳 In the kitchen, we were busy stirring up some yummy food, mixing, pouring and creating imaginative recipes. This encouraged communication, creativity, teamwork and lots of wonderful role play.
⚽ We have also been creating our own Scotland World Cup 2026 memories, celebrating Scotland’s journey and sharing in the excitement together. The children enjoyed football-themed play, cheering on Scotland and making special memories with their friends.
It has been a fantastic week full of curiosity, creativity, friendship and fun. We can’t wait to see what next week brings! ❤️

This week has been all about under the sea, we’ve used these two books as our focus stories and adapted our play around all sorts of different sea creatures, some cute and some not to much. We have looked at dolphins and whales, where they live and how they survive. The children practiced being different creatures, exploring movement and sound. It has certainly been an interesting week which of course we also made Scotland flags to support the World Cup. A beautiful week of imaginative play and exploration.
