Eagle Owls enjoyed another fantastic science lesson with Mrs White at Cartmel Priory School. We found out all about chemical reactions and tested different metals using a Bunsen burner to see how they reacted.

A massive well done to our amazing Year 6 children who have worked incredibly hard and completed their SATs this week! 🌟

We are so proud of them. They have all given their very best, so should feel incredibly proud of themselves too. 👏✨

Thank you to all the Eagle parents and children who have brought in fascinating World War 2 artefacts and inspiring stories about family members, we have loved sharing them.

Eagle Owls have been thoroughly enjoying learning about World War II this week. They were especially inspired this morning by a visit from author Tom Palmer, who has written many fantastic children's books, including several based around the war. We are currently reading After the War, which is set in Cumbria and is the story of the Windermere boys.

A huge well done to the Eagle Owls who took part in the annual Cumbria Spellbinding Reading Competition this term, reading up to six books and filling up their reading passports along the way! 📚✨

A special well done to those who managed to complete the challenge and read six or more books – an incredible achievement!
