Lomond Base 6 had great fun exploring loose parts play this afternoon! They were developing their creativity, communication and problem-solving skills as they explored different materials and made their own choices. They also took on a problem-solving challenge linked to their story, Jack and the Beanstalk, using their ideas and imagination to find solutions.!🌱

🔢 Ben Hope have been developing their place value skills using practical resources, including Dienes materials and counters, to help them solve problems. They created their own anchor charts to remind them of useful strategies and enjoyed active games to consolidate their learning. They have also been wonderful buddies. Great work, Ben Hope! 🌟

Our Lomond Base 1 children are settling in brilliantly and enjoying getting to know one another. They have been busy exploring their new environment, joining in with a range of learning experiences and enjoying lots of sensory activities along the way. 🌟

Ben Lomond explored letters and early literacy through play, developed their maths skills through painting, and worked on recognising and identifying different emotions through dance.

They then took their learning outdoors for an Emotion Freeze Game, using their faces and bodies to express different feelings. Lots of active learning, creativity and fun!
