As we lock the gates and head into the holidays, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible parents, carers, and children. Your hard work, kindness, and support have made this school year so incredibly special. We are so proud of everything our children have achieved!

To all our returning families: have an absolutely amazing summer holiday. Make lots of wonderful memories, get plenty of rest, and stay safe. We already cannot wait to welcome you all back in September! 🏫✨

Yesterday was our final visit to Aldridge Library for this school year, and we are feeling so incredibly grateful! 📚✨

We want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at the library for hosting us throughout the year. Our Year 1 and Year 4 classes have had the absolute best time during our regular visits.

From bringing pages to life with the most amazing stories, to organizing brilliant, hands-on activities that kept everyone engaged and excited, you have truly sparked a love for reading in our students. Your warmth, energy, and patience have made every single trip special. 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to share that C&J is currently leading the local schools in the library's Summer Reading Challenge, Read to the Beat! 🎵📖
Let’s keep that incredible momentum going, team! We are encouraging all of our wonderful students to carry on reading over the summer holidays. The challenge is to read 6 books in 6 weeks from Aldridge Library—a fantastic way to keep those reading brains buzzing and help C&J hold onto the top spot! You can do it! 💪🥳

Thank you for being such a fantastic part of our community and for supporting our children's learning journeys this year. We will miss our visits over the summer, but we can't wait to see you again next Summer! ❤️

A massive congratulations to our incredible Year 6 children on their fantastic production of Ye-Ha! You absolutely brought the Wild West to life with so much energy, laughter, and talent.

We are incredibly proud of every single one of you! 🤠🌵

A huge thank you goes out to:

⭐Our amazing cast of actors for lighting up the stage and nailing every single line and song.

⭐ The brilliant crew behind the scenes handling props, costumes, and tech to make the magic happen.

⭐ Our wonderful staff—Mrs Price, Mr Stewart, Mrs Steventon, and Mrs Marklew—for their endless hard work, dedication, and support in putting this whole show together.

Yesterday, we managed to pull off the ultimate surprise! 🤫✨

We welcomed BBC Wolverhampton & Black Country into school under total secrecy, to share some incredible news for our amazing school crossing patrol officer, Ian. We surprised him live on air with the incredible news that he has been chosen as a finalist for the BBC Make A Difference Award in the Good Neighbour category! 📻🏆

We couldn't think of anyone more deserving. Come rain, snow, or a summer heatwave, Ian is out there every single day keeping our children safe. But he does so much more than that—he welcomes every single child and family with the brightest smile, a warm chat, and a wave that can brighten even the gloomiest Monday morning. He truly is the heart of our school gates. 💛
Ian, we are all incredibly proud of you and so lucky to have you. Let’s all give him an extra big wave and a massive "CONGRATULATIONS!" when you next see him! 👋🌟

Just a quick reminder for all our wonderful families that the Charity Fun Run & Fete at Cooper and Jordan School is happening this Saturday, 27th June!

The kids have been talking about it, the trainers are laced up, and we are ready to raise some serious vital funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. 🚁❤️

🗓️ Quick Recap of the Details:

When: Saturday, 27th June

Where: Cooper and Jordan School Grounds

What to bring: Change for the stalls (cash is preferred), your best running shoes, and plenty of community spirit!

🎨 Don't Forget the After-Party!
