🌍✈️ A Taste of the World at Adventureland! ✈️🌍
Yesterday the children enjoyed a wonderful food-tasting experience as we explored different countries from around the world through food, culture and conversation.
👶 Ladybird Room (0–2 years) – Spain 🇪🇸
The children enjoyed tasting a selection of Spanish-inspired foods including meats, olives, salsa, fresh fruit and frittata.
🦋 Butterflies – Morocco 🇲🇦
Our Butterflies explored the flavours of Morocco, tasting cinnamon oranges, couscous, pitta bread, hummus, strawberries, yoghurt and more.
🐉 Dragonflies – France 🇫🇷
The children sampled a variety of delicious French treats, including crêpes, croissants, pain au chocolat and madeleine cakes. They also enjoyed savoury favourites such as quiche, meats and cheeses.
🎓 Preschool – Japan 🇯🇵
Our Preschool children enjoyed tasting noodles, bao buns, apple and kiwi flavoured Oreo biscuits, panda biscuits and Mikado sticks while learning about Japanese culture.
As well as tasting foods from around the world, the children explored each country's flag, looked at photographs of the different places and talked about what life might be like there. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce the children to different cultures, traditions and tastes while encouraging them to try new foods.
