Nothing makes me more proud as a mama than to see my Minnie me execute & ace the assignment . She wanted to bake her school friend a birthday cake and l was almost in tears just thinking the lessons sunk in meaning my job is done in this space .

There has been moments she’s thrown in the towel but l’ve always said to her l’m always here when you are ready to continue & here we are today.

Lessons l learnt were we sometimes have to be patient and stand back allow them to go through & process whatever they may be feeling and welcome them back with open arms when they are ready to push again.

It’s been a while since posting anything just been preoccupied with other parts of my life. But we keep it moving.

Whatever you enjoy doing if you like it enough nothing will stop you from getting back to it even if you are taken on detours.

Sometimes things happen in life and May as well take us of track but the key is always to take a pause and not give up on your dreams/ goals/plans .

Whatever might be happening in your life recognise, acknowledge it , learn from it and move on. Just don’t stay stuck in that place.

I know it’s tempting to just say why bother anymore l have already lost the plot and fallen behind but the truth is it’s never too late to pick yourself up and start again from where you left off.

There is always a choice to be made but l want to encourage you to choose winning.

Fun cute unicorn cupcakes for my sweet baby girl.

Birthdays are fun , happy and full of love and well wishes. My daughter whom l do this with definitely have lots of fun bringing our bakes to life for the special days and our clients whom we appreciate for trusting us to deliver their sweet treats .

How many ways do you honour the special me in your lives and show your appreciation and love for the great work they do. Sometimes it’s not about the big things but just the thought and effort you put into sweet little treats. My husband has a sweet tooth so l know what the kids and l will be creating for his sweet treat box. Gather your little teams at home and get to creating a fun , love filled and tasty treat box for the special men in your lives for Father’s Day. It’s all about love and gratitude at the end of the day, so let’s continue being intentional with it .

Teach them young and they will simply amaze you. My Minnie me prodigy following through with the lessons and excelling if l should say so myself. Really loving this chapter we are at and soaking it all in. All l can sincerely say is that when something is placed in your hands take it and run with it. Like l’ve shared before our baking journey started as a coping mechanism to keep me occupied and going after suffering a tragic loss. From that a blessing came through a friend gave me her mixer told me to keep it and put it to good use and bake many more yummy cakes. It will be 3yrs this month and we can look back proudly and grateful for the journey ahead. As always onwards & upwards on from our little kitchen . Experience is always the best teacher just allow yourself to learn new things, you might not get it right at first but just dust yourself up and keep going it will all start to come together as long as you don’t quit.

Sometimes even though they maybe radio silence it doesn’t necessarily mean nothing is happening in the background . This journey of growth, self elevation and mind shift for a success setting is not straight forward there will be ups and downs , twists and turns. But it’s always what you do next that matters/ counts. So word to the wise today is don’t fall prey to all the social media “norms” out there sometimes it can get all too noisy and overwhelming. Just fall back listen to your intuition sometimes that’s when God speaks and you might just miss it. Lean into him for your peace, comfort, council and guidance & remember you are always running your own race. You are enough, amazing and can totally do whatever you want to achieve. Onwards and upwards and stay humble and blessed. ☺️🌸🌸
