🌟 Scholarship Success Series 🌟

At Edge Grove, our aim is simple: to identify and nurture every child's talents, and help them find the senior school where they will continue to thrive.

Over the coming days, we'll be celebrating the outstanding awards and scholarships our Year 6 and Year 8 pupils have secured across academics, sport, music, drama, art and more.

These achievements reflect not only exceptional talent and hard work, but also the confidence, character and curiosity that we strive to nurture at Edge Grove, and the power of an education that helps every child discover their strengths and fulfil their potential.

Congratulations, Class of 2026!

One of our Nursery children’s favourite times of the week is their Ball Skills class! ⚽️🏀🎾
This extra PE session taught by specialists provides a fun and engaging opportunity for the children to develop and enhance their ball skills, including throwing, catching, kicking, rolling, and coordination. Through a range of exciting activities and games, the children build confidence, improve their physical development, and learn the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
It is wonderful to see their enthusiasm and progress each week as they enjoy staying active while having fun!

Year 6 had a fantastic day visiting ! 🦁🐒
The children enjoyed exploring the zoo, learning about a wide variety of animals, and discovering more about conservation and habitats from around the world. It was a fun-filled and educational experience, and the pupils were a credit to the school throughout the day.

Today, we welcomed our Year 2 parents for a transition meeting as their children prepare to move into Year 3.
At Edge Grove, we understand how important this step is for both children and parents. Our transition programme is carefully designed to ensure every child feels confident, supported and excited about moving from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, while giving families the opportunity to ask questions and feel fully informed about the journey ahead. Match days were a key discussion point. It is always a highlight for our Year 2 into Year 3 pupils as they begin playing other schools.
We look forward to supporting our Year 2 pupils as they take this exciting next step in their Edge Grove adventure.

The children were proud to share their work and showcase the confidence, independence and skills they have developed throughout the year. We are incredibly proud of their progress and know they are more than ready for their next exciting step into Reception!

At Edge Grove there is nothing better than a theatre visit and acting workshop to bring the work of Shakespeare to life. Year 5 are learning about focus and collaboration as members of a cast of performers, whilst immersing themselves fully in the themes, character and plot in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
