Aldbourne Children's Book Group

A book group for children from the rural community around Aldbourne. We support St. Michael’s School by helping run their library.

We are a group of volunteers who have been inspiring a love of books in children since 1975. We are a group of volunteers who believe passionately in developing children’s literacy and social development through reading books. We organise the annual Book Swap on World Book Day, and we bring authors, illustrators and professional storytellers to Aldbourne, creating unique events involving dramatic readings, creative workshops, and book-themed fun and games.
