St Michael's has been running a successful Forest School programme for 6 years, most recently utilising a forest setting in our school grounds.
We are now sharing our practice across social media and running our own in-house training courses.

So we said goodbye to our Level 3 Forest School Trainees. All confidently demonstrated their tool use, fire lighting skills, tree and plant ID and immersed themselves in the holistic approach to Forest School. Off now to their own settings, ready to enjoy their own journey - making such a difference to young people's lives.

Determination and resilience shown today with our year 2s. Fire striking is such a tricky skill but what a great feeling when you achieve it and finding those exact colours for the Goldsworthy inspired artwork, so rewarding!
