XMAS DANCE WORKSHOP: This Tuesday, the lovely Nicole Ferris from Ferris Dance Company joined us to deliver a Christmas-themed dance workshop for our Accrington students.

Nicole created a festive dance routine specifically for the day and taught it step by step to our students! They learned this throughout the session and performed it at the end using props; helping to bring the full routine to life.

We are looking forward to welcoming Nicole back in the new year and inviting more enthusiastic dance students across ARC to join in next time!

NETBALL: Yesterday, we hosted the wonderful Ellie Stuart from BFC in the Community at Accrington for an open Netball session, welcoming players of all levels. Ellie’s session was a hit, and she’s already attracted 4 new netball teammates to join her in NCC Netball Academy matches. She’s excited to welcome more players onboard 🏐

🎯 House Darts Competition! 🎯 A huge thank you to the ARC Extra Curricular Team for coming into school today to host a House Darts Competition! It was a fantastic lunchtime full of energy, precision, and plenty of fun as each house battled it out on the dartboard. After some impressive throws and close rounds, here are the final scores: 🥇 1st – Pinnacle: 557 🥈 2nd – Veritas: 465 🥉 3rd – Nexa: 429 🏅 4th – Fortis: 347 🎯 5th – Ignite: 240 A big thank you again to the Accrington and Rossendale College Enrichment Team for running such an engaging and competitive event — we’re already looking forward to the next one!

WEAR IT BLUE THIS FRIDAY 10TH OCTOBER

As a thank you for Lancashire Minds attendance at this years Freshers Fair, we will be supporting their Wear it Blue campaign in aid of Mental Health Awareness Day!

We would love you to help raise awareness by taking an image of yourself wearing BLUE in any places around college where you might go to focus on your Mental Health! Send it to the ExtraC team or tag us in the image!
