St Peter’s CE Primary School

Our Y5/Y6 attended a summer rounders event at Accrington Academy School. The children had a wonderful time, working as a team and scoring lots of rounders. What a lovely way to end the school year. Well done everyone.

Y3/Y4 were invited to attend Quad Kids Lancashire County Finals in Blackpool. This was a fantastic achievement and we competed against the other schools from across Lancashire. The children were amazing & encouraged each other. They had a fabulous afternoon. We are so proud of them. Well done everyone.

The children had another fantastic multi sports club. The children were learning skills, to be able to play dodgeball. They loved learning the rules & then playing the game against each other. Well done everyone.

Y5/Y6 took part in a team building afternoon. The children took part in a carousel of activities and challenges. These included Orienteering & problem solving activities. The children really enjoyed these & worked well together.

Year 5 travelled back in time during our Ancient Baghdad workshop. It involved exploring infections, culture and the gold age of learning! 🕌

Year 4 had an amazing time at Curden Valley Park as part of their river studies 💧 they explored the river, tested water flow and discovered the wildlife 🐸
