Kreative Kids

Absolutely stunning radial prints by these creative kids today! 🌈 We wrapped up our first 3 days of art making with a stunning lino cut and project, and blown away by the results!! Beautiful work kids, each one taking time to create different vibrant backgrounds using ink, planning their designs, outstanding focused effort with cutting and their prints are simply stunning - we are really looking forward to week 2 next week! ✨

Today we embraced the heat, and constructed and painted absolutely delicious ice creams!!! 🍦✨
These amazing artists also worked on adding finishing details and designs to their vases, various personal projects and created wonderful illustrated scenes to keep cool in the afternoon. Patience, re working, adapting, collaborating, creative thinking and enjoying the process - What a day! 🤩 We are really looking forward to tomorrow!

A wonderful and relaxed day with these artists, taking our time to create Greek & Roman inspired vases inspired by the work of Cleon Peterson. The vases were patiently and beautifully crafted using modroc to hold the structure, and once dry painted with white or black (or both) acrylic paint as a base layer. A work in progress with incredible focus 👌 and we can’t wait to see them all finished this week 🖤🤍

Our last Art day this July! Amazing and incredible focus to create of stunning geometric animals inspired by the characters in The Jungle Book. Our artists created wonderful & colourful ink based backgrounds, and printed their animals over the top using water based ink. Critical thinking, problem solving, intricate cutting, gluing and the results were simply stunning!! We also finished up various sewing and sculpture paintings and we are already super looking forward to our next Art days coming up in August!

A beautiful COLOUR filled Day with these creative kids! Working with our theme: The Jungle Book, our artists worked with chalk pastel to blend colours and create beautiful backgrounds, they then painted their chosen animal over the top with black ink. We also worked with oil pastel to explore oil pastel transfer of a drawing onto white paper, which was cut out and added to a mosaic collage background. Also a bit of sewing, doodling and painting sculptures! It was super warm today but these wonderful artists created stunning art work despite the heat! 🐵🐻🐯🐍

A fabulous jungle filled day with these creative kids, inspired by the story of The Jungle Book. Modelling modroc animal sculptures: snakes, tigers, monkeys and bears, some completed today and others will be finished tomorrow. We also worked on observational drawings of big cats, bears, pythons and the beginning of intricate cardboard modelling projects. A lovely and lively jam packed day and we can’t wait for tomorrow! 🐆🐍🐯
