Week 3/8 - Road to 10 Press-ups

Been working behind the scenes getting the work in. Week 2 was a good week, building the reps and working through form.

Then onto week 3. Safe to say the start of the week didn’t go to plan. Got hit with the lurgy so had to press pause and recover. Ended up being 2/3 sessions instead of the full 3 this week. But honestly I’m not making a big deal out of it. 2 upper sessions instead of none is good enough when things take over that you can’t control. And no they weren’t the best sessions in the world but I still put in as much effort as I could on those days (some would say that was out of stubbornness 😅).

Onto week 4 and nearly at the halfway point. Time to step it up a bit. Adding in progressions, pushing the weight on loaded exercises and getting back after it 💪.

The 8 week plan is still there if you fancy a challenge or just want to get stronger at press-ups. Drop me a message

I coach strength and at the moment I can just about do 1 proper press-up.

If you don’t train something for a while you lose it, who knew!🤷‍♀️

So I am gonna fix it, over the next 8 weeks I will be rebuilding from 1 to 10 press-ups. Using progressions to help get the foundations in. 💪

And if you are currently sitting at 0 or 1 reps then follow along. Even if your goal isn’t 10 but just to build up to 1 this is for you.

I am making the full plan available tomorrow with progressions and regressions.

My question to you now is …
How many clean reps have you got in your locker right now ?

Sometimes the people that are worrying about not doing enough are the ones doing just fine.

When you are consistently being told there’s more you should be doing, it makes sense to feel behind.

But what if you are doing the ordinary amount for you right now - and that’s enough?

60-Day Women's Strength Program - Build to Last 💪

That 9pm thought…
“I’ve fallen off again. I’ll restart Monday.” Alarm set,
6am comes and snooze is hit. The guilt just sits there until next week.

You want to be consistent.
You want to feel stronger and more confident.
But between work, family and caring for everyone else, you’re always last.

You’re not failing.
You’re just giving everything to everyone else.
————————————————————————

Built to Last is a 60-day coaching programme for women aged 30-50. Coached by me, a female coach who understands the challenges and pressure you face.

Designed to help you:

- Build strength and manage weight
- Create consistency (without overwhelm)
- Feel better in yourself, increasing confidence
- Build habits that last beyond 2 months

You’ll have:

- Workouts fully planned for you

Consistency doesn’t need a big moment, it just needs you to come back.

This is how accountability is used.

Something I see a lot:

Women who want to feel better in their bodies again… but don’t want the pressure, noise, or intimidation that usually comes with “getting fit.”

If you’re in or around Stanford in the Vale and thinking about returning to exercise (or starting properly for the first time), that’s who I work with.

My sessions are simple, supportive, and built around real life.

No shouting. No expectation to be “on it” every week. Bad days included.

We focus on:
- Rebuilding strength at your pace.
- Moving better and feeling more capable.
- Feeling comfortable in your body again.

Not perfection.

I coach out of Buffalo Fitness Studio, Stanford in the Vale, and I work mainly with women who want fitness to fit into their life, not take it over.

If that sounds like something you’d actually enjoy, you’re welcome to message me or email [email protected].

No pressure, just a chat to see if it’s a good fit.
