Millets Maize Maze 🚜🌾

If you’ve not been to maize yet, then what are you waiting for!? Best thing I’ve spent money on so far this summer for those under 10. So much to see and do there, plenty of activities hiding in every corner and a booklet full of hunts and riddles to complete too. There was something here that children of all ages can enjoy, from the little’s to my own teens who got stuck in and became master maze map readers for us.😅🗺️ Pack a picnic, apply the suncream, you might just find you’ll be here all day and have to coax them to leave eventually like I did.

What an absolutely incredible day to celebrate one last adventure together before saying goodbye to my OG Stephie’s House family as the youngest sibling now too is spreading their wings and moving up to Primary School.

Our last inflatable fun day was a huge success and the only feedback we had was alot of people didn’t even know we were hosting an event, it was windy man Dave that was getting peoples attention.

So we need you to help spread the word, tag as many people as you can and get the message out there.

We love hosting these events but for us to continue doing them we rely on you guys turning up!!

With the rain comes the snails 🐌 ☔️

The perfect invitation to explore these wonderful creatures, we set up a tally chart as we headed out for a rainy walk to see how many puddles we could jump in and how many snails we might spot. We had a great time splashing and hunting. Discovering tiny snails and giant Roman ones. The children carefully explored and touched them declaring them “slimey” and “hard”. They independently spotted letters from their name and we enjoyed making playdough snails this afternoon.

This summer, world-famous author Julia Donaldson will be performing an outdoor show exclusively for Little Wild Things!

The Gruffalo and other stories
Morning and afternoon events on
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July
Tickets £15 per person

Join us deep in the heart of the fabulous Cornbury estate for an adventure through some of Julia’s most well-loved songs and stories.

The event runs over 3 hours. The performance will last for one hour, and gates will open an hour before the start of each show to allow you time to arrive, enjoy some Little Wild Things activities, visit the bookshop and buy popcorn should you wish to do so. After each performance there will be the opportunity to spend a little more time on site to have a photo or a cuddle with the Gruffalo and pop some bubbles before you head home.

All proceeds go directly to support the work of Little Wild Things.
