Welcome to my Facebook Tuition Page.

My name is Nalin and I teach Maths, Chess and Violin to a multitude of students ranging from:
Young to young adult,
Students looking to improve to gifted youngsters,
1:1 private lessons to small class based lessons,
In-person lessons to online.

This is my full-time profession and I have been enjoyed nurturing minds for 4+ years.

MATHS
I teach up to A-level standard in maths plus the IB equivalent and everything else below.

Prioritising learning techniques and giving confidence to my students is important, not only to me but also to help nurture the students progression as they advance in their learning. Building a safe environment where students can ask me the questions they are too afraid to ask teachers in class is something I encourage as it’s only through asking the questions in which we learn.

CHESS
I have played the wonderful game of chess since I was 9 years old and have loved it ever since. From early beginnings in a school chess club to weekend tournaments I’ve experienced a lot and met so many friends along the way.

In my classes students can learn the mysteries of strategy and how to predict what your opponent is going to do! These skills are not only fun, but are highly transferable to other subjects/areas of life.

VIOLIN
Myself and my wife (who is a piano teacher) play at weddings/events together. I was fortunate to learn the violin from an amazingly gifted teacher and person and wish to pass on the secrets of good musical understanding, along with enjoying to play this most beautiful sounding of instruments.

In our lessons, students will learn correct techniques to play with Violin with confidence, learn to read sheet music and so much more.
