Not only do we provide music l
essons but as part of the tuition session we include a music quiz which is the ideal opportunity to include some theory and history of music in a fun way. The music students will also be encouraged to form their own bands and perform in jam sessions, all heading towards stage confidence and an end of year concert. The lessons run weekly in conjunction with school term times, for 2 hours per age group ( 7-11 & 12 -18) All of our tutors are DBS checked and have an incredible musical background between them, from music degrees, live performance and recording studios. ADULTS
The Rock Project Encore is a school of rock for 'mature students', it is based of the teaching methods & principles of The Rock Project, but for adults! So if you are 20, 30,40, 50, 60, 70 something and have always had the dream of being in a rock band, Encore is just what you’ve been waiting for. You do not need any experience, we welcome beginners on the other hand if you have been a bedroom player all your life and want to play with other musicians then this is your chance. Lessons run on a rolling monthly membership (Just 14 days cancellation notice) You sign up for as long as you want on a chosen instrument at *any time throughout the year.
*There will be periods before scheduled gigs where new enrolments will not be permitted so that the existing students are not disrupted for their rehearsals. Each session lasts for 90 minutes. Firstly you will have a lesson on your chosen instrument in a small group, followed by a plug and play session where you will be able to put into practice what you have learnt in your lesson, accompanied by the other students in the group. During the course you will be learning enough material so that if you want to, you will be able to perform at gigs held twice a year & maybe a few promotional events where friends and family can come along and see you become the rock star you always told them you would be one day! http://www.therockproject.com/wales-encore-t
The Rock Project based in North Wales keeps going from strength to strength. Since launching in 2008 there are now over 87 schools across the UK. As it has developed The Rock Project has produced several live performing bands now regularly gigging in the UK and Europe, some with recording contracts. As well as former students now becoming tutors within the project and forging their own musical careers.
