🍽️ With Moray schools returning on Wednesday 19 August, why not have a look at the week one menu together and get the kids to pick what they fancy for their first few days back?
🍱 There’s Bubblefish or Roast Chicken on Wednesday, Butcher’s Pork Sausage or Spring Roll on Thursday, and Steak Mince with Vegetables or Breaded Chicken Goujons on Friday – with veggie options, sides, salad, fruit and optional yoghurt too.
✅ P1 to P5 pupils get free school meals. For P6 and P7 pupils, meals cost £2.55 and can be paid for by cash or through an iPay account.
Free school meals are also being extended to eligible P6 and P7 pupils whose families receive the Scottish Child Payment (SCP).
🌱 Our catering teams also use ingredients from local suppliers where possible, including fruit and veg from Swansons in Elgin, fresh meat from Fraser Brothers in Forres and free-range eggs from Brackla in Elgin.
If your child needs an adapted menu because of a medically diagnosed food intolerance or allergy, just let your school know and they can pass the details on to the Catering team.
