SOME NEWS FROM ANDY! (Please share far and wide!)

“Hello followers of The Rock Project in Bristol & North Somerset, I just wanted to update you with the news that after 14 years on the North Somerset team, and 8 years running the team….Tom has made the difficult decision to leave The Rock Project at the end of this academic year.

Tom has been the bass tutor for Nailsea, Clevedon, Portishead and Ashton Park since we opened in 2011 and has been session manager since 2017, taking over from me. He has been an incredible and inspiring leader to all our hundreds of students over the years, and I hope that like me, you will all want to send you best wishes to him over the next couple of months 😀

With that, we want to celebrate Tom and so our end of year gigs at The Fleece on Sunday 13th July (North Somerset gigs!) will also be a leaving party for him, so… if there are any ex students and parents reading this, please do come along to our final gig of the day 7:30pm - 9:30pm where we’ll be giving Tom a great send off, and it would be fantastic to see you there! Please share 🤘

With that, we are now on the hunt for a new session manager to start in September. We will be advertising the position over the next few weeks so please share those as we search for somebody to fill some very big shoes!
