No one would survive without Bees to pollinate our flowers, as the saying goes as Busy as a Bee, this Reel certainly shows that. Listen for the noise they make, don’t you love it.
The Rose at the end of the Reel is called Bobby James

We had a wonderful day yesterday with the Grosmont Kitchen Singers who sang in the Walled Garden, lovely weather, a wonderful group of singers and a very enthusiastic audience. Well done to Alison and Nick who organised such a great afternoon for everyone.

The last bit of vegetable planting, in this case the gourds. Ready to go out now as the weather has warmed enough. The gourds are both edible and useful as autumn decoration.

The Grosmont Kitchen Singers are going to be performing again in the garden. Last year we had a lovely afternoon with everyone, the money raised will be for Grosmont and the Skenfrith Church.

We had a wonderful evening last night, where we welcomed back students to see the garden in the Summer. Our courses span from the Autumn through to the Spring, so it gives everyone a chance to see the parts of the garden they have helped work on.
Our new Courses will be live on our website this Monday.

The second technique for getting your roses to flower from the ground to the top. A little more drastic than last week’s technique, but very useful when you have older stemmed plants or ones with little flexibility.
Most importantly do this one late winter/early springtime to give you roses this year and the best results in the next years.
