Late notice I know but you might be interested in a new organisation, Educators for Peace. They’re hosting an online CPD tonight.

With Prelims underway across the country it's very much "the business end" as they say of the school term. The last time? It may be the last time but I don't know.

I hope all goes well for all taking Higher Modern Studies on Friday. I'm not wishing anyone "the best of luck" though. Its not about luck, its about hard work. You've worked all year, you've done your prep, you don't need luck. I am though sticking on the audio for "Effectiveness of measures to tackle inequality" as I think its a very frustrating topic, which I explain on the website. Maybe my favourite feature of the new site is the Deep Dive Audio. Each topic, for example, The Governance of Scotland, has its own Deep Dive Audio. This audio usually lasts for about twenty minutes and involves two presenters discussing the issues. Each subscribing school or college can create accounts for each student. This means students can access the resources, for example, The Deep Dive Audio any time they want. We all learn in different ways. The Deep Dive can be a great home study task or just to reinforce what you've done in your lesson. Check out this one and see how the Deep Dives can enhance you and your students' experience!
