🎭 HDMT Summer Showcase 🎭

What a wonderful night we had on Saturday filled with singing, dancing, acting and beautiful solos!! Thank you everyone who made it along to support our talented pupils and for all your support this year!

As always, the biggest thank you to Kelly for choreographing all the amazing dances- you are the very best and so talented!!
Thank you Josh Beagrie Freelance for taking care of all things sound and lights once again, you are amazing - that has to have been the quickest turn around ever to get everything set up, and you do it with ease! Thank you!

Thank you Irene at Longside Hall for your excellent communication with hiring the hall- it was the perfect venue!
Thank you Julene, Jayne, Andrea, Debbie, Kelly, Carla, Sandra, Laura, Selena, Rowan, Ross, Robin, David for all your help with set up, running the raffles, organising teas and coffees, looking after the children when the show was going on, and then the tidy up! There were a heap of people stacking chairs too at the end when we were getting photos taken and I’m not sure who it was- but thank you so so much!!! What a wonderful team of wonderful people we have around us ☺️

A very special one this week, as my lovely son Rory, AKA the heart and soul of HDMT, has successfully auditioned and been given a place as a Royal Ballet School Junior Associate in Edinburgh, starting in September 🥹 a true pinch us moment! Thank you everyone for your kindness and love this week 🥹

Huge well done to our little Rory, who has been accepted after a successful audition to be a Junior Associate with the Royal Ballet School! 🤩

So proud of you Rory, you have been working so hard lately and it’s paid off!! I know you are going to love your time as an associate, and we will continue supporting you on your future journey 💙

We were extremely lucky to get tickets for Mintlaw Academy Creative Arts showing of Bugsy Malone last night, and what a show it was!! Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish, we were absolutely blown away! Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, band and production team, and of course to Casey, Ellen, Freya and Rowan for their incredible performances! Enjoy your final show tonight and then a well deserved rest ☺️
