🍾 Friday drinks with the team! 😎

It's been another busy week of First Aid training, so I thought I'd treat the team to a wee drink...

Meet the stars of the show... Bob, Bob, Bob, and... Bob! 😂

✅ They never phone in sick.
✅ They never moan.
✅They don't mind practising CPR hundreds of times a week.
✅And they're always happy to help save lives!

All jokes aside, these 'Resusci Annes' have helped train hundreds of people over the years, giving them the confidence and skills to step in when someone needs help most.

Now... who's buying the next round? 🍾🥂🤣

Have a fantastic weekend everyone! 💚

P.S. HR have confirmed Bob, Bob, Bob and Bob are all getting Monday off. 😉

🎧 Listen with the volume up! 🎶

💧🚽 WHAT COLOUR IS YOUR P*E? 🚽💧

Yes... we're talking about p*e! 😂

It might not be glamorous, but it's one of the easiest ways to check if you're drinking enough water.

So I thought I'd make learning about hydration a bit more fun...

🎶 A catchy song
😂 A funny stickperson
🚽 A toilet
💧 And a hydration colour chart you'll hopefully never forget!

⚠️ One thing I forgot to mention in the video...

Don't ignore that "pang of thirst!"

It's your body's way of saying:
"I'm starting to become dehydrated... please give me some water!" 💧

By the time you actually feel thirsty, dehydration has already begun, so don't wait until then to have a drink.

Remember...

✅ Colours 1–3 = Great! Keep it up!
⚠️ Colours 4–6 = Time to drink more water.
🚨 Colours 7–8 = Your body needs fluids urgently.

Have a watch... and then maybe go and grab yourself a glass of water! 💙💧

(And yes... you'll probably never look at the toilet the same way again! 😂🚽)

I have KCR by Kim's KCR every week, and it is brilliant.......try it, and you'll understand what it is, how it works 💚

Kcr is a process and everyone is different, it can be a quick fix or a process.
You don’t go to the gym for a day and become fit, you have to build it up do the exercises and stay focused on the outcome. Your body has muscle memory and has to be trained to get back to being at its best. Simple
Just remember hiw you felt when you got up from the table after ur treatment as this is your aim. Strengthening ur muscles to support ur body in the right way.

Missing person....please share.

Please, can you help!

Officers are asking for the help of the public to trace a 49-year-old man reported missing from Peterculter in Aberdeen.

Keith Gauld was last seen around 11 am on Monday, 6 July, in the Paddock area and reported missing on Thursday, 9 July.

He is described as white, around 5ft 8ins, of athletic build, with brown, greying hair. It is not known exactly what he is wearing but it may be a t-shirt, a fleece, jeans and walking shoes.

Keith is an experienced hill walker and has a white Citroen Berlingo, registration SM67 LPJ. He may have travelled to the Crathes area.

Sergeant Julie Nicol said: “Concerns are growing for Keith’s welfare and we need to make sure he is safe and well.

“We are asking anyone who has seen Keith or his car, or knows where he might be to get in touch.

“If Keith hears about this appeal I would ask him to get in touch with us or his family.”

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1157 of Thurs

😲 Have You Ever Choked?
It's one of those situations that most of us never expect to face... until it happens.

Would you know what to do if a family member, colleague or customer started choking?

During my first aid courses, delegates don't just learn the theory, they get to practise the correct technique using the fantastic The Act Fast Anti-Choking TrainerLLC™. It allows everyone to safely experience what effective Back Blows & Abdominal thrusts feel like and build the confidence to act quickly in a real emergency.

A huge thank you to Stonehaven Engineering. for allowing me to share this photo from one of their recent training sessions.

💚 First aid isn't about remembering pages of information...
It's about having the confidence to step forward when someone needs you most.

Have you ever witnessed someone choking?

What an incredible achievement! ⛳💙

A huge congratulations to Billy Thomson on completing his 100 Holes Golf Challenge – an absolutely phenomenal effort in support of the Grampian MS Therapy Centre

I was proud to be part of Billy's support team throughout the day, making sure he stayed hydrated, fuelled with the right snacks and drinks at the right times, and ready for every single swing of every single hole. Thankfully, my first aid skills weren't needed... and long may that continue! 😊

The determination, resilience and support shown by everyone involved was genuinely inspiring to witness.

Although the challenge itself is complete, there's still time to support Billy's amazing fundraising effort.

Every single £1 donated brings the Grampian MS Therapy Centre one step closer to funding a larger oxygen chamber, allowing even more people living with neurological conditions to benefit from this incredible service.

If you're able to spare even a few pounds, it really will make a difference.

Well done again, Billy – what an achievement! 👏⛳💙

⛳💙 100 Holes. One Incredible Man. One Amazing Cause. 💙⛳

WOW... HE DID IT! 🎉

⛳ 100 holes
🚶 Countless miles walked
🏌️ Hundreds of golf shots
💙 One incredible commitment to helping others

Billy's determination, resilience and sheer grit have been nothing short of inspirational. While most of us would be ready to put our feet up after 18 holes, Billy kept going... and going... and going!

This challenge wasn't about breaking golfing records – it was about changing lives.

Every swing, every step and every aching muscle was in support of the Grampian MS Therapy Centre, helping us continue to provide life-changing therapies and support to people living with Multiple Sclerosis and other long-term health conditions across the North East of Scotland.

Billy's dedication to the Centre has been unwavering. As a Trustee, fundraiser and passionate ambassador, he continually goes above and beyond to help raise awareness and vital funds. This challenge is another example of his selfless commitment, and we simply can't thank him enough.

Of course, Billy didn't do it alone. A huge thank you also goes to everyone who joined him throughout the day, the volunteers, sponsors, supporters, Kintore Golf Club, and everyone who donated, cheered him on or helped make this incredible event possible. You have all played your part in making this challenge such a tremendous success.

Billy, everyone at the Grampian MS Therapy Centre is immensely proud of what you've achieved. You have inspired so many people, and your efforts will make a lasting difference to the lives of others.

💙 From all of us… thank you. You are an absolute legend!
